An industrial manipulator by CAD allows the operator to ergonomically grasp a payload, lift it to a desired height, and then move in and around obstructions with ease while performing functions like inverting, rotating etc. All units can be equipped with various tooling options such as mechanical, vacuum, or magnetic grippers and can be actuated with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical power.

This custom industrial manipulator was designed and manufactured for the food industry to pick up a 60lb roll of plastic, rotate it 90 degrees, and load it onto a mandrel 6 feet off the ground. Before this industrial manipulator was introduced the operator had to manually load a roll every 10 minutes.
