 This machine part was reverse engineered from an O.E.M. sample and upgraded to 7075 aluminum for strength. We also added ware plates (as shown) with 65 Rc surfaces to upgrade from the original anodized aluminum ware points. |

| The original equipment manufacturer made these slides from 6061 T6 aluminum. During operation they are in constant motion, sliding against one another at an ambient temperature of 500 degrees. These machine parts had to be replaced every six weeks. We reverse engineered the worn out sample, upgraded the material to hardened steel and bearing bronze and now our aftermarket slides operate for six months before wearing out.
